Owner and Registered Nurse

Leonard, a registered nurse since 1993, brings over 20 years of long-term care experience to Miracle Heights. After leading a nursing team in Connecticut, he relocated to Oregon with his wife and ignited his passion for senior care by co-owning residential care facilities. Known for his approachability and dedication, Leonard enjoys spending time with family, exploring nature, and cheering on the Trail Blazers.

Millie

Owner and Director of Health Services, RN

Millie, a registered nurse with a passion for elder care since childhood, has dedicated her career to serving seniors. Her experience spans hospitals, nursing homes, and dementia care facilities. As co-owner of Miracle Heights and Director of Health Services, Millie leverages her supervisory skills and expertise in infection prevention to ensure the well-being of residents.

Executive Director

Armed with a bachelor's degree in Enginering and his Christian faith, Jon got busy spending the last 20 years of his career making a difference in the lives of the seniors around him, one day at a time. To make an elderly person happy is the noblest act a young person can ever do! It is a blessed bliss to live to be old.

Angie

Business Office Manager

Angela Slindee joined Miracle Heights in February of 2024 as the business office manager. She brings with her over 20 years of experience working with seniors. Angela has a degree from the University of Minnesota in Speech Language Hearing Sciences. (Go Gophers!) When not at work she enjoys playing softball, camping and spending time with her husband and their dog Captain.

Resident Care Coordinator

Amy is committed to building strong relationships with residents and their families. She grew up in the northwest and resides in Sandy Oregon. Amy loves spending time with her family and enjoys walks and camping in the great outdoors.

RJ

Resident Nurse

The son of Millie and Leonard graduated with a nursing degree from the University of Portland and got his RN license (both in 2023). Growing up in a care home that his parents ran, he wants to follow in their footsteps and make a positive impact on seniors. He's interested in learning care home management and hopes to contribute significantly to the senior community. In his free time, he enjoys video games, spending time with loved ones, and watching basketball.

Madeleine

Resident Nurse

A seasoned oncology nurse with California hospital experience, Madeleine brings expertise in chemotherapy and senior care to Miracle Heights. After relocating to Oregon in 2011, she discovered a passion for assisted living and memory care. Madeleine thrives on building relationships with residents, finding deep reward in their well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, knitting, and cooking.

Activity Director

Jenny is an activity director with a passion for Homemade crafts. With 5 years of experience in the industry she have developed a strong set of skills and a record of success. When she's not working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors or hanging out with family and friends.
